The West Roxbury Neighborhood Council will hold its next meeting on Tuesday June 26th at 7:30 PM at the District 5 Police Station Community room at the Holy Name Rotary.

Marion Kelly, Jim Hennigan and Fred Gillis from the YMCA will discuss the upcoming expansion and fundraising activities planned for the near future. This is a big and exciting project which they will share with the community and answer any questions.

Also on the agenda, Anthony Ross, representing John Fortin and Paul Louderback from Rox Diner (1881 Centre St.) will discuss their plans to apply for a beer/wine license. John and Paul had expanded their West Roxbury operating hours to include dinner but had many patrons requesting beer/wine service with their meals and thus they determined that dinner was not viable without a limited (beer/wine) liquor license. John and Paul have a beer/wine license at their Newton location where the operating hours extend to 9PM.  A similar extension of their family restaurant operations at the West Roxbury location with dinner/beer/wine until about 9PM is what is being sought.

All WRNC meetings are open to the public.
