The West Roxbury Neighborhood Council Zoning Committee meets every third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the West Roxbury Police Station.
This committee meets about zoning-related issues such as when someone wants to add an addition onto their house, or if a developer wants to raze a home to build something new.
The committee makes recommendations that are provided to city organizations, which may or may not authorize permits.

The West Roxbury Police Station is at the Holy Name Rotary and polices West Roxbury as well as neighboring Roslindale and a small part of Hyde Park.
The district is led by Capt. James Hasson and has a known reputation for being responsive to residents' concerns and questions.
The community room is used by several local groups and organizations regularly, including the Boy Scouts and the West Roxbury Neighborhood Council.
This is also a voting station for elections.
