DESCRIPTION:The West Roxbury YMCA hosts an open house for returning and n
 ew campers on Saturday\, January 26\, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pare
 nts and children who attend the open house have the opportunity to lock 
 in 2012 rates plus get 50% off camp deposits. Families can explore the d
 ifferent camp options offered and start a summer camp layaway payment pl
 an.\n&nbsp\;\nChildren and teens ages 3 to 16 can take part in West Roxb
 ury Y&rsquo\;s weekly camps\, choosing from eight camps with locations a
 t the Y\, in Dedham and at Hale Reservation. Extended day is offered for
  all camps and transportation to Dedham and Hale Reservation sites is av
 ailable. The eight camps include creating arts and crafts\, exploring sc
 ience and technology\, swimming\, participating in field trips\, explori
 ng nature\, learning about many cultures and making new friends and memo
 ries. Summer learning\, including literacy activities\, is also part of 
 the Y summer experience.\n&nbsp\;\nSummer camp begins Monday\, June 24 a
 nd registration opens on Friday\, February 1 for those who do not attend
