4 Upcoming Events in West Roxbury

1. Deutsches Altenheim German Centre, the West Roxbury Business and Professional Association and Ethos-AgeWell West Roxbury will host a "Stand up for Seniors - Coffee and Conversation with the Candidates” forum with the at-Large candidates for Boston City Council.  The forum will take place on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 2 pm at Deutsches Altenheim German Centre Holtzer Auditorium, 2222 Centre Street in West Roxbury. 


2. The next meeting of the West Roxbury Business and Professional Association will be held on Wednesday morning, October 16, 2013 at 7:45 am at West Roxbury Pub Function Room located at 1885 Centre Street with the meeting to begin promptly at 8 am.

3. Boston Public Library will host a free, public tour of the City of Boston Archival Center on Thursday, October 17, at 5:30 p.m. Led by Mary Frances O’Brien, Chief of Public Services for the library, visitors will explore the climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility that houses more than one million library materials, including books, journals, newspapers, maps, films, and archival materials dating back centuries.

4. The Boston Police District E-5 Police Station in West Roxbury will throw a children’s Halloween party for the community on Oct. 25. The party will run from 5-8 p.m. at the Station at 1708 Centre Street.
