Snow on the Way, Winter Running and Girl Scout Cookies

Here are five things you need to know in West Roxbury for Tuesday, Dec. 17.

1. Winter Weather Alert: The National Weather Service is predicting anywhere from 1 to 3 inches or more of snow Tuesday afternoon and evening in the West Roxbury area. 

2. Winter Running: Are you a regular jogger and wish to join others on your morning runs? Good news -- the Parkway Running Club will hold two group runs Tuesday morning starting at 5:30 a.m.

3. Library Happenings: The West Roxbury Branch Library on Centre Street will host a free drop-in homework help session Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. that also includes academic support and mentoring in all subject areas to students in grades K–8.
