Support Injured Westie Teen; O'Malley on Casino Vote; Eastern Buses on Rivermoor Road

There are openings at the Ohrenberger Community Center for its after school program.


  1. West Roxbury's District Councilor Matt O'Malley was the only Boston City Councilor who voted in favor of a citywide vote about a casino in Suffolk Downs.
  2. More than $30,000 has been raised to defray the medical costs of West Roxbury's Mark Delamere, who was seriously injured in an Arborway crash on Sept. 6. 
  3. There will be an adult street hockey tournament to help defray the medical costs of Delamere at Fallon Field on Nov. 2. 
  4. Openings are available for children 6 to 12 at the Ohrenberger Community Center. The program is open during snow days and school vacations. Alternate trasnportation can be arranged. Call 617-635-5183.
  5. On Monday the West Roxbury Neighborhood Council will meet with the main scheduled agenda item being Eastern Bus discussing their desire to continue parking buses on Rivermoor Road. District E-5 Police Station. 7:30 p.m. Open to all.
