1. Lord’s & Lady’s Hair Salons in West Roxbury has teamed up with its neighbor West on Centre to offer a hair and drink special. Any customer who has an appointment for a Moroccan Oil Deep Conditioning Treatment and blow dry at Lord’s and Lady’s will be treated to a free sangria at West on Centre. The offer is available every Thursday night from 4- 8 p.m. at the Salon. Drinks at West on Centre are available from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Deutsches Altenheim German Centre, the West Roxbury Business and Professional Association and Ethos-Age-Well West Roxbury will host a "Stand up for Seniors - Coffee and Conversation with the Candidates” forum on Friday at 2 p.m. with Boston City Councilor Matt O'Malley and challenger Luis Valerio.
4. Pet Supplies Plus is making Halloween special for pets and their owners this year. The West Roxbury Pet Shop will hold a Treats for Tricks – Pet Parade & Costume Contest this Saturday, Oct. 26 at 12 p.m. at its VFW Parkway location for all dogs and cats.
