West Roxbury Dems, GOP Hosting Events

1. Democrats gathering: Want to meet some of the democratic candidates for statewide office? The Ward 20 Democratic Committee is hosting a meet and greet at the West Roxbury Pub tonight at 7 p.m..

2. Republicans pick  conventioneers Saturday: Not to be outdone, the Ward 30 Republicans will select their convention delegates this weekend. Gubernatorial candidate Charlie Baker is slated to attend. The fun starts at 10 a.m. at West on Centre.

3. Missing High School student: Caleb Jacoby, son of Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby, is missing. He was last seen midday Tuesday. Anyone with information about Jacoby's whereabouts can call Brookline police at 617-730-2222.

4. Weather: A slow thaw is in the offing. Expect a high temperature in the 20's today, but the thermometer will flirt with non-freezing temps on Thursday. By Sunday, expect temperatures near 50 degrees.
