Blue Hills Bank Charitable Foundation Awards More Than $90,000 to Local Schools

The Blue Hills Bank Charitable Foundation has expanded its community outreach into local schools with its newly established Educator’s Innovation School Grant Program and has awarded $92,156 in grants to 17 local schools teachers/principals.

This additional grant opportunity, introduced by the Blue Hills Bank Charitable Foundation this year, gives local school principals and teachers the ability to apply for funding that directly impacts their students and teachers.

“We were thrilled by the number of applications we received and the opportunity to lend a hand in getting these innovative teacher-driven programs off the ground,” comments Blue Hills Bank CEO and president, William M. Parent. “We are happy to meet some of the financial need that comes along with creating these programs.”
