David Ortiz's World Series MVP Award Fixes a Field in Dorchester, Saturday, May 31

Last Saturday, members of the Red Sox and Red Sox Foundation attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for three refurbished baseball fields at McConnell Park in Dorchester. One of the fields was restored through a donation from Chevrolet, who awarded funds on behalf of David Ortiz to commemorate his 2013 World Series Most Valuable Player Award. The Red Sox Foundation provided additional funding to support the Boston Parks and Recreation department's renovation of two additional fields. The fields are the home of the Savin Hill Little League.
