Horticultural Scholarships Available - Apply by March 1, 2014

The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts is again sponsoring 11 horticultural scholarships

Applications are now being accepted for eleven college scholarships offered by the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc., the state organization of The Evening Garden Club of West Roxbury.

Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students majoring in one of the following subjects at an accredited college/ university: horticulture, floriculture, landscape design/ architecture, conservation forestry/agronomy, city planning, environmental studies, land management, botany, biology, or allied subjects. College-bound high school seniors are also eligible.

According to Ann Poulopoulos, president of The Evening Garden Club of West Roxbury, "2013 scholarship recipients included students from Acton, Amherst, Chelmsford, East Falmouth, Fall River, Falmouth, Hubbardston, Needham, Methuen, and Taunton. Let's make sure students from Roslindale/West Roxbury make the winners' list in 2014."
