Weighing in at 6 pounds and 13 ounces, and measuring 18.5 inches long, Penelope was born this morning, Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 1:59am.

As Marty looked out the window of Brigham and Women’s Hospital at the house where his late father grew up, he marveled at the coincidence of the timing. “My father died a week ago today at 1:59pm. My melancholy mood from my father’s death has been lifted by Penelope’s birth. Now we need a World Series victory to top it all off!”
Pam and Penelope are both healthy and doing well. Marty and Pam’s two year-old son, Nolan, is looking forward to meeting his little sister later today.
