Riverside Theatre Works invites families on a trip to Never Land! This year’s spring youth musical is Peter Pan Jr., based on the classic Disney film and featuring a cast of talented young actors. It’s a perfect vacation week activity at one of Boston’s most cherished local theaters.
Performances take place on April 21, 22, 23, and 24 at 11 a.m., April 25 at 7 p.m., and April 26 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets cost $15, and can be purchased at rtwboston.org or 866-811-4111.
Wext Roxbury students Samantha Lonergan, Elizabeth Linnehan, and Carly Chung appear in the production.
Peter Pan Jr. is the enchanting tale of a boy who refuses to grow up and his friendship with the Darling children. Together, they fly to the world of Never Land, where they meet fairies, mermaids, Lost Boys, pirates, and the dastardly Captain Hook.
Through a series of adventures – marked by catchy, kid-friendly songs such as “Never Smile at a Crocodile” and “Following the Leader” – they all learn the value of friendship and the meaning of home.
