Here are five things you need to know for Tuesday, Dec. 3.

1. Local art on display: West Roxbury artist Barbara Trainer has an exhibit up in nearby Dedham. Trainer is a jewelry artist, and some of her pieces are on display at the Dedham Square Artist Guild.

2. Safe and warm: As temperatures drop and winter approaches, people are pulling out the old blankets and space heaters. But make sure you stay safe as you get warm. Here are some tips to keep your home safe and sound this winter.

3. Oh what a night: Congratulations to the Roslindale High School class of 1973. The class held a 40th anniversary reunion Saturday at the Apollo in Norwood.
