West Roxbury Main Streets has posed a question to readers on Facebook, asking what residents think about trying out what is known as The Open Streets Project.
In essence, the project allows for the closing of streets normally reserved for vehicle traffic to temporarily allow cycling, walking, dancing and socializing.
Surrounding neighborhoods on Huntington Avenue and Blue Hill Avenue, among others, have already tried the project out, according to WRMS.
What do you think? Should West Roxbury attempt to open a particular road - such as Centre Street - for a day of socializing? Let us know in the comments below.
