Adult Street Hockey Tourney to Aide Westie Kid Seriously Injured in Arborway Crash

Money raised will go directly to defray Mark Delamere's medical costs.


Calling all adults for a street hockey tournament to benefit West Roxbury's Mark Delamere, who was seriously injured in a horrendous Sept. 6 Arboway crash

The benefit adult street hockey tournament will be held on Sat., Nov. 2, at Fallon Field in Roslindale to help defray medical expenses incurred by Mark Delamere, said Joe Donahue, director of the Coppinger Court Hockey League.

The six-team tournament will start at 7:45 a.m. and conclude at approximately 5 p.m. with the championship game. Cost to enter a team is $550 (made payable in advance to Mark’s benefit account) and teams can have up to 20 players on its roster. Teams will play a minimum of three games and a maximum of five. The event will be held rain or shine. For further information, please contact CoppingerCourtHockey@gmail.com.
