A bestselling author from West Roxbury has been featured in a new book designed as a tribute to women across the globe.

"She: A Celebration of Greatness in Every Woman," written by Mary Anne Rachmacher and illustrated by Liz Kalloch was written to highlight, educate and empower women on such topics as leadership, friendship, adventurousness, collaboration, risk-taking, compassion and happiness.

The book features bestselling author and creativity coach Gail McMeekin, of West Roxbury, as the image of a modern day woman's imagination.

For her part, McMeekin is the founder and president of Creative Success, LLC, and the author of "The 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women" and "The Power of Positive Choices".

"Being featured in Mary Anne Rachmacher and Liz Kallohc's new book is such an honor," McMeekin said in a statement. "This beautiful new book for women everywhere will become a true classic. It is a ticket to self-love, acceptance and fulfillment."

The book, released in honor of Women's History Month, gathers wisdom from such high-profile figures as Hillary Rodham Clinton, Jennifer Louden, Madeleine K. Albright and Maggie Oman.

McMeekin holds an MSW from Boston University, a certificate in Human Resource Management from Bentley College, and has completed the coursework for the Coaches Training Institute. For more information, visit www.creativesuccess.com.
