West Roxbury Storm Center: Snow Emergency, Parking Ban Ends 8 a.m. Wednesday

Check here before, during and after the storm for updates, resources and important numbers.

Update, 7 a.m. Wednesday: Boston will list its parking ban at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. That gives residents until 10 a.m. to get their cars out of snow emergency parking lots. If you're late, you'll have to pay regular fees rather than the cut rate offered during big storms.

Update, 3:30 p.m.:
Boston has declared a snow emergency  and parking ban starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday night. Boston Public Schools have canceled all evening activities and classes for Wednesday

*****
What was once expected to be a 1-2 inch snow event has ballooned to a major winter storm. Forecasters at the National Weather Service now expect the Boston area to get 8-10 inches between late Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.
