WEST ROXBURY — Mark your calendars for the Third Annual HNYSP Casino Night Benefit from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 in the Holy Name Parish Hall, 1689 Centre Street, West Roxbury.

Professional and instructional dealers will provide a fun evening of Black Jack, Texas Hold’em, Roulette, Craps and Wheel of Fortune games. There will also be a cash bar and raffle prizes.

The casino night will benefit the Holy Name Youth Service project, a group of local high school students who participate in community service projects in the greater Boston area, around the state and in New Orleans. Over the last two years projects have included helping at a local food bank, doing yard work for elderly and disabled residents, tornado relief in western Massachusetts, furnishing and preparing a new home for a homeless family, visiting a senior center, helping with Special Olympics events and working in New Orleans, which is still rebuilding from the damage of Hurricane Katrina.

Now in its third year, the group which has grown to include about 50 high school students, plans to travel to New Orleans in February to work in an area of the city that was further damaged by Hurricane Isaac last summer.

The Casino night is the biggest fundraiser for the service group. Tickets are $40 each or two for $75 and include admission, appetizers and $2,000 worth of funny money to use at the gambling tables. Additional funny money is available for purchase.

Tickets may be purchased at the Holy Name Church Rectory, from youth service project members or after the 4.pm. Masses on Saturday Oct. 20 and 27, and after the 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Masses on Sunday Oct. 21 and 28.

For more ticket or event information please call 617-596-2791 or email www.holynameyouthserviceproject@gmail.com and write “casino night” in the subject line.

Thank you and hope to see you there.
