West Roxbury Rocks! Fundraiser on Friday Night
Enjoy music by Tradition, an Irish step dance performance, a silent auction and more at the Irish Social Club of Boston in West Roxbury.
On Friday night, Ethos will hold its 3rd annual West Roxbury Rocks! event to benefit AgeWell West Roxbury.
"West Roxbury Rocks is a great opportunity to have fun with friends and neighbors AND support services for the elderly!" said Dale Mitchell, executive director of Ethos.

Come out for live music by Tradition, a silent auction, dancing food, raffles, with all funds going to the AgeWell West Roxbury program. More than 40 organizations and local businesses donated sports memorabilia, golf passes, hotel and restaurant gift certificates, theater and museum tickets for the silent auction.
While funding for stay-in-home programs like AgeWell West Roxbury has been cut, or had proposed cuts against it, West Roxbury Rocks! has found a long-term supporter. The Gardens at Gethsemane, led by Alan MacKinnon, is the lead sponsor for West Roxbury Rocks in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Held at the Irish Social Club of Boston, event goers will enjoy a performance by the O'Dwyer School of Irish Dance.
The West Roxbury YMCA will also be providing child care until 8:30 p.m., and there is no admission cost for Y members.
