Boston Latin Academy Girls Soccer Playing Score for a Cure Game at Hynes Field Today

BLA's Dragons square off against the Jeremiah Burke School with a bake sale on the side to raise funds for the American Cancer Society's breast cancer programs.

 

The Boston Latin Academy varsity girls soccer team will face the Jeremiah Burke High School in their 2nd Annual Score for a Cure Game and Bake Sale today at Hynes Field.

The game starts at 3:30 p.m., with admission being $3, or $2 if you wear something pink. BLA's jayvee team will be selling snacks, baked goods and refreshments throughout the game and all funds raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society's breast cancer awareness programs.

The players will be sporting pink socks and shoelaces, as well as playing with a pink ball to help raise awareness and support programs to fight breast cancer.
