Busted Knuckle Preparing Move to Roslindale

The local shop will be closing on Saturday this week and will reopen in February.

One of West Roxbury's small businesses on Centre Street is preparing to close its doors.

As of Saturday evening, Busted Knuckle Bike Shop will close up after serving West Roxbury customers for nearly three years. The store will remain open from 11 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday of this week.

The bike shop, however, is not closing for good. Owner Jason Devitt will be reopening for business in late February on Belgrade Avenue in Roslindale.

"Most of our customers seem to be from Roslindale," Devitt told West Roxbury Patch this week.

Devitt started the shop after previously working at Ferris Wheels in Jamaica Plain.
