For 2012, bragging rights for the best business holiday window goes to Dorchester’s Back to Life Chiropractic & Wellness. Allston’s Stingray came in third.

This is the third year of the storefront decorating competition that features 20 Boston Main Streets districts and had more than 400 small businesses competing. The three-week-long contest began on November 20, and there was more than 4000 online votes to determine the winner.

But the holiday fun isn't stopping at Fabutique, it's about shopping at Fabutique.

Fabutique's owner Marika Gaurenszky is hosting a “Guy's Stress Free Shopping Event” on Sat., Dec. 22 from 3-5 p.m. This event will feature food and no stress shopping for the men, and gift certificates will also be available.

“I want to congratulate the winners and all the businesses that participated in this year’s Deck the Windows Contest. It is no secret, judging from the thousands of votes cast, that this contest really enlivens our neighborhood business districts during the holiday season,” said Mayor Thomas Menino via press release. “I want to thank all the business owners, our Main Streets districts, voters, and our local judges for making this such a success. I alsowant to remind residents to remember that our Main Street Districts have some of the most unique gifts and dining options in the City of Boston.”
