New York Times Offers Data-Driven City-Focused Biking Wisdom

Do you have advice for fellow cyclists about where you pedal in and around Boston?

By Bret Silverberg

Boston is fast becoming a choice city for cyclists. That’s not only evident by watching the roads but also by watching what people have to say online about the various bike paths and not-so-visible cycling areas in and around the city.

The New York Times has published a comment-driven map generated by people who cycle in and around major U.S. cities.

By clicking the “Boston” tab, a reader would learn that the bike lane ends heading west on the VFW Parkway in West Roxbury, or that the Muddy River path is a solid, off-street connector between Jamaica Plain and the Fenway area.
