Parkway Vet Hospital Opens New Building Due to Demand

Doggies and kitties have a new building to get check-ups at the Parkway Vet Hospital in West Roxbury.

Like a family with a big dog who needs a bigger home, the Parkway Veterinary Hospital had to expand due to increased clientele.

"We have two different hospital buildings because we're servicing so many animals in and around the community," said Jennifer Bouchard, practice manager of Parkway Veterinary Hospital at 18 Spring St., in West Roxbury. "Simply because we needed more exam rooms."

Thus Building B was built and opened recently, including more parking in the back of the very popular business.

Also new to the practice are two veterinarians - Dr. Naomi Oliver and Dr. Jennifer Lysz, who joined longtime owner Dr. llene Segal and her awesome Dalmatian, Tyco, and longtime associate Dr. Sandy Higgins. Dr. Nicole Worshum recently moved south to another practice.

Parkway Veterinary is offering the same services, but can now offer more appointments due to its physical expansion.
