5 Things: Hear About Improvements to Millennium Park

On Tuesday at the West Roxbury Library, elementary school aged children can write and illustrate their own story in a 90-minute workshop.

 

  1. Have you "liked" Lord Mayor Richard Gormley's Facebook fan page yet? Updates on what the Lord Mayor is up to in West Roxbury, Ireland, how he's living, and more. 
  2. On Wednesday attend a public meeting to hear about the improvements coming to Millennium Park and the West Roxbury Education Complex fields. 6:30 p.m. West Roxbury Education Complex. 
  3. Need help with homework? Go to the West Roxbury Library and get help from a Boston Public School teacher. Teachers offer homework help for students in all grades. 4 p.m.
  4. On Tuesday at the West Roxbury Library, elementary school aged children can write and illustrate their own story in a 90-minute workshop - Story Map Project. The Story Map project is from the Emily Neuburger’s multiple award winning educational craft book - Show Me a Story. 3:30-4:30. Free. 
  5. On Wednesday at the West Roxbury Library is Sing Along with talented musician Lulu for kids 2- to 5-years-old from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Free, but space is limited. Register by calling 617-325-3147.
