5 Things: Ohrenberger-Beethoven Schools Raising $$ for Oklahoma Tornado Relief Fund

Did you know that May 19-25 is Dog Bite Prevention Week? The United State Postal Service certainly does. Nearly 5,900 letter carriers were attacked last year - and 4.7 million American are bitten annually!

 

  1. The Beethoven-Ohrenberger K-8 school communities are holding a Bruins Day/No school uniform day for a donation on Friday, with all proceeds going to the Oklahoma Tornado Relief Fund.
  2. On Friday, West Roxbury's District Councilor Matt O'Malley is holding office hours at Panera Bread from 8-9 a.m. Stop by and have a cup of tea or coffee with your city councilor. 
  3. Did you know that May 19-25 is National Dog Bite Prevention Month. The U.S. Postal Service does with nearly 5,900 letter carriers were attacked last year, but that pales in comparison to the 4.7 million Americans annually bitten by dogs – more than half of whom are children – according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
