Boston Public School students have early release today for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

  1. Volunteers brought Thanksgiving groceries to more than 80 families and elderly West Roxbury and Roslindale residents in need yesterday.
  2. The Knights of Catholic Memorial will face BC High on Thanksgiving Day at BC High at 10:15 a.m. $10 tickets at the door. 150 William T Morrissey Boulevard, Boston.
  3. Boston Public School students have early school release today.
  4. Voting is open for our West Roxbury Patch Facebook page cover contest. Pick your choice to win and tell us which in the comments section by indicating the picture number. One vote per person, please. Voting will end at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 21. 
  5. Parkway In Motion is hosting its first ever Football Field Day on Friday. Catholic Memorial's football field. Two divisions of 30 participants each, a 5th and 6th grade division and a 7th and 8th grade division. Official PIM Football Field Day shirts and lunch will be provided.  Spots are limited so register your child today by emailing parkwayinmotion2009@gmail.com. 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
