How Are West Roxbury Streets After the Blizzard?

City crews, and private contractors, are working around the clock to make all streets passable after the blizzard.

 

Boston crews are working around the clock to make all roads passable after one of the worst winter storms New England has ever seen. So how is your West Roxbury road?

How is Centre Street? How is Baker Street? How about Lagrange Street (no matter how you spell it)? How are the smaller streets? How's the Bellevue Hill area?

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino was out in West Roxbury on Sunday taking a firsthand look at crews at work. Menino sent in the attached photo, according to the City's Facebook page.

The Mayor’s 24-Hour Hotline is dealing with heavy call volume, receiving more than 20,000 calls since the start of the storm as of Saturday. Residents with storm-related questions or concerns should call the Hotline at 617-635-4500. Residents can also request services and find snow information online at www.cityofboston.gov/snow.
