1st Annual Evvgirl Foundation Golf Tournament Needs Golfers

On Monday June
30, 2014 the Evvgirl Foundation is holdingits1st Annual Evvgirl Foundation Golf Tournament at the Brookmeadow
Country Club in Canton, MA. The deadline for submitting applications to play is
June 10, 2014. To date we have had a dramatic outpouring of support from the
Community in providing sponsorships and raffle prizes. However, we need
golfers, from foursomes to individuals to help us make this a stunning success.
The Club is providing a free putting green and driving range, while the event
features a car for a hole-in-one, a band, a prime rib lunch, entry and raffle
prizes for men and women, contests on the courseand much, much more.

The Evvgirl Foundation was recently established
in loving memory of Evan Bard, a 20-year-old Curry College nursing student, who
was tragically taken away from us in a drinking and driving incident on May 11,
2013.

Evan had a passion for taking care of
children and helping others and her dream was to become a Neo-natal Intensive
Care Unit (NICU) nurse.  The Evvgirl
Foundation is committed to carrying on Evan’s legacy by making positive changes
in local communities, while fulfilling her dreams… but we cannot do it alone. The
purpose of the event is to raise funds to purchase webcams to NICU's across the
state of Massachusetts. These invaluable cameras are placed on the cribs of
premature and sick infants in the NICU so family members are able to log on at
a mutually agreed upon time, in any location in the world, to check in on their
precious baby should they need to return back to work or family before their
baby can come home.  They will be able to
see, hear, talk and sing to their newborn from any desired location.

The foundation will be purchasing
multiple cameras, which have been well received by the community. Our goal is
to raise $1,000,000.00 over the next 12-18 months to fund cameras to all the
hospitals in Massachusetts with NICU’s and PICU’s. Our short-term goal, with
the help of this tournament, is to fund cameras in the Boston hospitals. We
realize this is a lofty goal and we need your help. Everyone knows a parent who
has experienced serious health issues in an infant

must submit our order to the Golf Shirt supplier and quantify our needs to
Brookmeadow by June 10th. The cost is $125 per golfer or $500 per
foursome.
