Community Corner

Annual Fundraising Banquet

Dorchester -The Irish
Pastoral Center
will celebrate its Annual Banquet on Saturday November 16th, at Florian
Hall, 55 Hallet Street,
Dorchester.
The guest of honor on this special occasion is former President of
Ireland Mary McAleese.

The Irish Pastoral
Centre (IPC) was founded in 1987 in response to a large increase in the numbers
of young Irish arriving into the Boston
area.  In its 25 years of existence, it
has been a pillar of support for thousands of Irish individuals, couples and
families as they assimilate to their new lives in America. The IPC continues to
provide a wide selection of services to meet the needs of the immigrant
community in the Greater Boston area including programs such as ‘Senior Citizen
Outreach’ and ‘Mothers & Toddlers’.

Starting at 6:30pm
the event includes a Cocktail Hour, a dinner and afterwards dancing with
musician Kevin Doherty & Friends. The Brady Academy of Irish Dance will
also perform.  A silent and live auction
will also be held on the night.
