Celebrate World Giraffe Day at the Franklin Park Zoo

Stop by Franklin Park Zoo on Saturday, June 21
to celebrate the first annual World Giraffe Day! This event is appropriately
being held on the longest day or night (depending on the hemisphere) of the
year in honor of the tallest and longest-necked animal. Stop by the Education
Stations and learn more about threats facing these animals in the wild as well
as ways that you can help support giraffe conservation efforts. There will also
be zookeeper encounters throughout the day, which is the perfect opportunity to
ask questions and learn more about the giraffe family at Franklin Park Zoo –
Beau, Jana and their offspring Henrietta.
