25th Annual Roslindale-West Roxbury Kiwanis Auction

The 25th Annual Roslindale-West Roxbury Kiwanis Club Auction takes place on Thursday, October 25th at the Irish Social Club on Park Street in West Roxbury.  Net proceeds from this event help us to support local organizations such as children's programs at the West Roxbury-Roslindale YMCA, scholarships for graduating seniors through the Joseph P. Sullivan Scholarship Fund (via The Cooperative Bank), the Roslindale Food Pantry, as well as the American Diabetes Association and Juvenile Diabetes Association.  Kiwanis also helps many other local organizations as well as the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute (through the Kiwanis Foundation of N.E.) at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, which is a special wing of the hospital which assists children who are victims of serious accidents.

Food and dessert this year is being provided by Deno's, Spring Street Cafe/Just Baked Pastry Shop, Leanworks, and IScream Works. Items up for bid include overnight hotel get-aways in Boston and Cambridge, several sets of Red Sox tickets, theater tickets in Boston and surrounding communities, a large screen television, a YMCA Family Membership as well as a pair of N.E. Patriots tickets.

Our auctioneer this year will once again by Josef Porteleki of Roslindale Hardware.
