About the Prowl

Moose Hill’s very popular Halloween Prowl enables your family to enjoy this autumn holiday in a fun, creative, non-scary, safe, and educational manner.  Discover the history of Halloween from a Druid and then encounter costumed characters as you are guided along a candle-lit trail.  After the hour-long guided walk, return to the Nature Center and enjoy a drink and treats at our campfire sing-a-long program.  If you have come in the past, please note that the characters change every year.

Wear a Costume

We will have an on-going costume “parade” as participants are checked in.  All are encouraged to wear a costume to be part of the fun.  Come show off your creative costuming talents!  A small prize will be awarded to all who wear a costume.  The program runs rain or shine, so dress for the weather.

Scouts and Community Groups

This annual event is the perfect fall kick-off outing for scout and other community groups.  If you are organizing a group and are not sure of your exact participant number, please call Patti Austin at 781-784-5691 for assistance.  If you know the exact number in your group, see registration details below.
