ReadBoston Author Series featuring Phil Vitti

Mayor Thomas M. Menino and ReadBoston will host an Author Series event featuring Phil Vitti, author of the book The Passage.  The event will be held on Monday, October 29 at West on Centre,  West Roxbury.    


The Passage is an informative account of one Boston Police Department undercover cop's experiences in the 1960s era. Time travel with 'Mike Russo' through the underbelly of Organized Crime played out against the back drop of Boston's once infamous Combat Zone.  Author Phil Vitti retired from the Command Staff of the Boston Police Department on Jan 2, 2003 after 38 years of service. He also served as a Senior Lecturer at University College, Northeastern University.


Tickets are $25. Hors d'ouevres will be served. Books will be available for sale. RSVP to readboston@cityofboston.gov or 617-918-5286.
