Deutsches Altenheim will be hosting a veterans’ event on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Included in the event is a ceremonial dedication of the Wall of Honor, a pictorial and narrative exhibit of veterans of the Deutsches Altenheim community who served in the US Armed Forces. Scheduled to appear at the ceremony are: City of Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, State Senator Mike Rush, State Representative Ed Coppinger, Boston City Councillor Matt O’Malley, Richard Gormley –Commander of West Roxbury VFW Post, veteran Marine Bill Sinnott – Corporation Counsel for City of Boston, Lt. Col. David Fallon – US Marine Corps and Lance Corporal Joe Burke – 2nd Marine Air Wing. This free event will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at 2222 Centre Street, West Roxbury and is open to the public.
