"Gardening Is Murder" with author Neal Sanders

The Evening Garden Club of West Roxbury presents "Gardening Is Murder"

Why is gardening information on the Internet so awful? Why is it impossible to do just one thing in the garden? Why should you never attempt to compute the value of your gardening labor? These are the questions that keep Neal Sanders up at night. As the husband of an avid gardener who has no “real” responsibilities of his own other than to dig holes and move rocks, he has time to observe gardeners and their foibles. The result is an illustrated talk that is humorous, informative and poignant.

Speaker Neal Sanders is the author of six mystery novels, several of which use garden club settings. He writes regularly for Mass Hort’s Leaflet and is the author of a popular blog, “The Principal Undergardener,” which looks at gardening from the perspective of a non-gardener who loves the finished garden product. Neal’s talk is adapted from his blog.

Non-member admission: $5.00. Bring your spouses or "assistant gardeners" for a fun-filled evening!
