Lucero Memorial 5K

The Lucero Run/Walk was created to memorialize Dr. Cynthia
Lucero, a much-loved community-oriented MSPP graduate from Ecuador who
completed her doctoral degree days before the start of the 2002 Boston
Marathon, during which she collapsed and died.



All proceeds benefit the Lucero Latino Mental Health Program
at MSPP. Awards will be given to the overall 1st male and female in each age
group.
