PRC Jon Connor Resolution Run!

The Parkway Running Club invites you to join us for either a 3-mile or 5-mile social run New Year's Day morning, with some light breakfast goodies,  oj, and coffee afterwards. The run is free and open to everyone. Meet us at the gym at the West Roxbury YMCA 9:30am on New Year's Day.

Parkway Running Club's Jon Connor Resolution Run is about re-dedicating ourselves to running for the coming year. It is named after Jon Connor, an original member of the club who lost his battle with cancer in 2006. He always pushed us to run further and faster, but always entertained us with long stories that often began "to make a long story short.” He was the elder of the group, but would goad us into running a bunch of hills that we would have avoided without him. The Resolution Run is a great way to honor a runner (and friend) who always challenged others to do their best.

Let's face it - if you can get out of bed and go for a run on New Year's morning in Boston, you can do anything this year!

For folks who choose to join or renew their memberships with PRC ($40 for individual membership, $60 couples), this year's annual club membership gift is a tech shirt with
the newly minted PRC-logo. Sweet.
