ReadBoston Author Series - "Whitey Bulger: America's Most Wanted Gangster and the Manhunt That Brought Him to Justice"

Award-winning Boston Globe journalists, Kevin Cullen and Shelley Murphy, are the co-authors of The New York Times bestseller, "Whitey Bulger: America's Most Wanted Gangster and the Manhunt that Brought Him to Justice."

A columnist for the Metro Section, Cullen previously wrote with The Boston Globe's Foreign Desk and Spotlight team. He was a member of the 2003 investigative team that won a Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the Catholic Church's sexual abuse scandal.

Murphy is a Metro Section reporter, winner of the George Polk Award, and has covered organized crime since 1985.

Murphy grew up in Dorchester and attended South Boston High School. Cullen lived in South Boston during much of Bulger's reign.

Together the two have broken more stories on Whitey Bulger than anyone else.
