Roxbury Community College 40th Anniversary Gala

For
40 years Roxbury Community College (RCC) has been a Gateway to the Dream, educating and providing opportunities for
their local Boston community. On Friday, October 11th from 6-11pm we
will be celebrating this achievement with a grand 40th Gala at Reggie Lewis
Track and Athletic Center, 1350 Tremont Street, Roxbury, MA 02120.
The event begins at 6pm with a reception, followed by dinner and an awards
show. RCC President Valerie Roberson will be speaking as well as Keynote
speaker Dr. Augustus A. White, III. Dr. White was the first African American
graduate from Stanford's med school, Yale Medical Center's first African
American orthopedic resident and the first African American department chief at
Harvard's teaching hospital. This event is a great opportunity to celebrate the
success of the community and give back to it. Tickets can be purchased at www.rcc.mass.edu and for more information,
please contact Ms. Carol Bliss-Furr at 617-541-5394 or cbliss@rcc.mass.edu. We can’t wait for
you to join us for this fun night of entertainment and celebration!
