Roxbury Latin's Messiah Sing

Join us for our fifth annual community Messiah Sing—and lend your voice to the Christmas portion of Handel's greatest choral masterpiece. Bring your own score, borrow one of ours, or just listen and enjoy.

Our soloists for the recitatives and arias include David Cushing (bass-baritone), hailed for his opera performances and his recent Symphony Hall debut; tenor Neal Ferreira (recipient of the 2013 Artist of the Year award from Syracuse Opera); soproano Lindsay Conrad; and alto Jessica Harika, currently studying at New England Conservatory. Brandon Santini of St. Theresa of Avila, West Roxbury, will accompany on the organ, and for the familiar and sublime choral responses, we are depending on you!

The evening begins with a special guest performance by The Sly Voxes presenting songs of the season. Directed by Kerry Brennan, the all-male a cappella group includes not a few talented members of the RL community.
