Donations Reach Near $100K for West Roxbury Teen Injured in Sept. Crash

Approximately $94,000 has been raised for Mark Delamere; the family has a donation goal of raising $250,000.

Nearly $65,000 has been raised in three months in support of a West Roxbury teen who was seriously injured in a September car crash. 

Mark Delamere was injured in a car accident on the Arborway while on his way home from Boston Latin Academy, and subsequently began occupational and physical rehab at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta.

By the end of September, approximately $30,000 had been raised for Delamere via GoFundMe.com. As of Dec. 26, the number reached $94,160, with donations continuing. 

Friends and family have a goal of raising $250,000 for Delamere, according to the family's MarkGoFundMe.com page.
