Upcoming West Roxbury Fundraiser to Benefit the Jimmy Fund
Proceeds will help a local group "walk all over cancer."
A group of dedicated walkers are about to descend on West Roxbury.
Billy's Brigade, a group of walkers aiming to raise money for the Jimmy Fund, will hold a special fundraiser on Friday, June 27 at the Irish Social Club of Boston in West Roxbury.
Doors to the event open at 6:30 p.m., with music, provided by Curragh's Fancy, starting around 8 p.m.

The event will feature an opportunity drawing filled with such prizes as Boston Red Sox tickets, bowling at Kings, yoga classes and kayak rentals, among other prizes. A silent auction item of a cod and haddock boat charter for six has been added to the event, a total value of $1,500, good for the June-July 2015 season.
Ticket packages for the event cost $5 for five tickets, $10 for 10 tickets and $20 for 25 tickets. All proceeds benefit the Jimmy Fund.
