Holiday Decorations Go Up on West Roxbury’s Centre Street

Holiday decorations went up on Centre Street last weekend.

Through last year’s “Raise Some Green for West Roxbury” fundraiser, planned and sponsored by State Representative Ed Coppinger, decorations were installed on Centre Street again for the third year in a row to help celebrate the holiday season.

“Because of our hard work last year in fundraising, we were able to purchase long-lasting decorations,” Coppinger said in a written statement. 

This year because of the Mayor’s race and another fundraiser organized for a local teen,  Coppinger did not have another “Raise Some Green for West Roxbury” fundraising event.
