Mary McDermott: West Roxbury Resident, Native of Galway, Ireland
Services will be held in West Roxbury on Thursday and Friday.
Mary M. (Dirrane) McDermott, 82, of West Roxbury, passed away on Tuesday, June 17.
Known for her sense of humor and love of family, she originally grew up in Galway, Ireland and immigrated to the United States in her youth.
A funeral will begin from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. in West Roxbury on Friday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m., followed bya funeral mass at St. Theresa's church at 11:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 19.
