Letter: Sgt. Kenny Jameson Retiring at End of August

To the Editor:

I’d like to bid farewell to one of ’s more beloved employees: - an irreplaceable person.

Sgt. Jameson is leaving us at the end of August and will be sorely missed. The “Sarge “has been with the department for 37 years and he has been a tremendous asset to our own community service office here in District 5. 

His knowledge of the community and his eagerness to assist the needs of our residents has been present throughout his career.  His passion is evident in all he does. Sgt, Jameson has run adoption, Halloween, and Christmas parties for the children not only in District 5, but throughout the city. He enjoyed bringing joy to those he served and his dedication will truly be missed.
