2-Alarm Fire for Barn on Hastings St., No One Injured

Boston Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire on Hastings Street after 10 p.m. on Monday night.


Boston Firefighters responded to Hastings Street on Monday night for a barn on fire, which was put out, and no one was injured.

The Boston Fire Department tweeted the fire was knocked down, but several power lines were downed. 

At 10:50 p.m. the Boston Fire Department's Official Twitter page tweeted: "Response to the rear of 31 Hastings St. in West Roxbury for a barn fire. A large barn fully on fire. 2nd alarm ordered."

BFD tweeted that the fire chief estimated the damage for $150,000.
