Arsonist Sets Cars on Fire at VFW Parkway Gas Station in West Roxbury

The Boston Fire Department Arson Unit is currently investigation the fire that destroyed eight cars.

 

The Boston Fire Department Arson Unit is investigating who set a fire that destroyed eight cars at Nick's Parkway Auto Repair and Gas overnight in West Roxbury.

The fire quickly spread from the two cars to six others, said Steve MacDonald, Boston Fire Department spokesperson.

"What it was - we were called to 1200 VFW Parkway at 12:36 a.m. (on Monday) home of Nick’s Parkway Auto Repair – across from West Roxbury High – it’s a combo gas station used car lot. Behind the building they had about 20 cars almost all Subarus," said MacDonald.

No one was injured.
