Bulger Wants Stanley Cup Ring Likely Given to Him by Westie's Knuckles Nilan

Infamous Winter Hill gangster Whitey Bulger was found guilty of multiple murders, and he would like his Stanley Cup ring back.

Federal officials seized more than a million dollars of gangster Whitey Bulger's money when he was finally captured, but he allegedly only wants a Stanley Cup ring likely given to him by West Roxbury's Chris "Knuckles" Nilan.

Bulger was found guilty of multiple charges for murder last week.

According to ESPN (via the Globe), Bulger is fighting to get back his Montreal Canadiens 1986 Stanley Cup championship ring via court documents.

Nilan grew up in West Roxbury and played at Catholic Memorial before a 13-year career in the NHL.

The government has the ring, and is "property that falls into a category eligible to be permanently seized."
